Live At Tennessee Valley Brewing Company: Local musician Eric Ryan will be preforming live Friday at 7 pm. Admission is free.


Ft. Defiance Honors U.S. Colored Troops:Fort Defiance will host members of the Mount Olive Cemetery Preservation Society at 1 pm on Saturday, February 8th. They will share biographies of some these brave men who risked their lives fighting for freedom. Refreshments will be served afterward 


Live at Old Glory Distilling Company: Bluegrass artist Ozark Caleb Ryan Martin will perform live at Old Glory Distilling Co. on Saturday, February 8th at 6 pm. Craft beer and cocktails will be available until 10 pm. 


Art with Ink: Artist Michelle W/o-E will be at the Downtown Artist Co-op this Saturday, February 8th, from 3 to 5 pm. to teach a workshop on alcohol ink, a new fine art medium. Admission to the class is 25 dollars.


4 Paws 4 reading: The public library invites children to come practice their reading aloud  skills with a certified therapy dog at 1 pm. 

Clarksville Fire Rescue taking Applications for Firefighters

Clarksville, Tn- Fire Cheif Freddie Montgomery just announced a new and improved Clarksville Fire and Rescue (CFR) application progess. 

1. Online Application Progess- 

  This prevents candidates from the need to physically pick up/ drop off applications and informational packets. 

2. Electronic Communications

   This will ensure that candidates receive communication when they are eliminated or advance to the next phase 

3. Confirmed Timeline 

  This will give candidates time to plan and schedule with no surprises 

4. Convenient Test Times 

   We have scheduled both an AM and PM written test time to allow more candidates and also give them the opportunity to plan around current employment.
